When you arrive at reception, one would expect to be greeted by a Lalibela staff member. This week, our guests were greeted by a herd of elephants as they drank at the waterhole just below the reception deck.
Our new reception area at Kichaka Lodge overlooks a waterhole which is frequently visited by herds of elephant and buffalo, a real treat for our guests!
What could be better than ticking off your first Big 5 sighting on arrival at Lalibela?
